MSCI Latest Country Rebalancing Dates as of May 2000 Index rebalancings occur, on average, every 18-24 months for each MSCI country in order to realign industry weights, ensure 60% market coverage, and evaluate companies for substantial changes in liquidity, float, and/or cross-ownership. The structural change to the country index may occur on only four dates throughout the year: as of the close of February, May, August and November. At all times, MSCI' s goal of accurately representing the underlying market is balanced with minimizing index turnover. | |||||||||
